Opening Remarks

~45 seconds — after Justin hands off to you

Script Deliver conversationally — feel free to riff
Look around the table — we have one of the more interesting combinations of AI perspectives I’ve seen in a single room. [beat]
We have the people who are actually building the infrastructure the rest of the world runs on: Edwin Chen, whose company trains the models that power most of what we use; Arvind Jain, who spent a decade building Google Search and is now rethinking how enterprises find and use knowledge; and Nicole Eagan, who has been using AI to defend against cyberattacks since before most of us had heard of a large language model.
We have companies deploying AI at serious scale — from energy giants to a 170-year-old denim brand to some of the world’s largest banks.
We have Dilhan, Divesh, and Henry Kravis — people allocating enormous capital to all of this, who have a particular vantage point on where the value is real and where it’s theater.
We have two former cabinet secretaries — Penny and Hank — who helped shape the policy environment every single person in this room is operating in.
And we have Everette, who represents something this room probably thinks about less than it should: what all of this means for creativity, and for the people who make things. [beat]
So. A lot of perspectives, a lot of ground to cover. Let’s dig in.
Tip: the [beat] pauses are good moments to make eye contact around the table and let the room settle before you move into Q1.
